Our take
I picked up these high-top leather sneakers thinking they might work for some casual soccer, and they do the job for light play. The hand-sewn construction feels solid, and the rubber cleats provide decent grip on grass. The cushioning is comfortable, and the breathable polyester lining keeps feet from getting too sweaty. However, they're clearly more of a hybrid sneaker-boot than a specialized soccer cleat. The sizing runs large, and the ankle height takes getting used to. For the price, they're a decent all-purpose athletic shoe, but serious soccer players will want something purpose-built.
